Moderation

What are Hobbas?

Habbo Origins went back to its 2001 roots in terms of moderation by re-introducing Hobbas.

Hobbas are experienced community players, not Habbo Staff. Their main role is to welcome new players, explain the Hotel, answer questions, and help keep rooms safe and friendly.

Staff

Habbo Staff

Official Habbo or Sulake staff and moderation or support team members.

PowersHandle proper moderation, tickets, ban appeals, hacking reports, and account-level issues. LimitsStaff have access to chat logs. Hobbas do not.

Senior Hobba

Gold Hobba

Trusted experienced community players with stronger Hobba permissions. They are not Staff.

PowersCan respond to support calls, send alerts, warn users in public rooms, and has public-room kick and mute moderation powers. LimitsCannot temporarily ban users from public rooms. Private-room moderation only works when the room owner opts in.

Trainee Hobba

Silver Hobba

Trainee Hobbas who help welcome players and respond to support calls.

PowersCan respond to support calls and send alerts in response to those calls. LimitsCannot kick players from public rooms and cannot temporarily mute players in public rooms.
