Alhambra: Palace Building Competition - Winners
The results are in for our Alhambra: Palace Building Competition, and you delivered a wonderful collection of grand palaces, royal gardens, and imaginative retreats. From sky-high dreamscapes to elegant courtyards and richly decorated interiors, the selected rooms stood out for turning the Alhambra theme into memorable palace settings.
The strongest entries made the new Alhambra furni feel purposeful while also creating a convincing royal atmosphere and bringing their own original take to the palace theme.
Winners
Our top five this time are Wessley in 1st place, followed by Merchantman, Gianlyca, kaya-, and sumya. Each of these rooms combined strong palace identity with clear atmosphere, polished composition, and creative use of Alhambra elements in different ways.

Feedback: The floating cloud islands create a very original palace concept, and the gold Alhambra-style towers immediately read as something grand and regal despite the minimal palette. The rain clouds, rainbows, moon glow, and flying carpet add a dreamlike story that makes the room feel like a palace in the sky rather than a standard indoor build. The use of open black space is bold, though it also leaves parts of the composition feeling a little sparse compared with denser entries.

Feedback: This courtyard palace is impressively cohesive, with strong architectural framing and a calm, stately garden layout. The roofline and columns establish scale well, and the inner court feels believable as a noble residence rather than just a furniture display. It is slightly more restrained than the very top placements, but the execution is elegant and the palace identity is immediately clear.

Feedback: This build combines palace luxury with a lush garden atmosphere, using glowing columns, patterned carpets, fruit trees, and layered plants to make the room feel alive and abundant. The elevated garden platform, feast setup, and relaxed seating create a clear royal retreat story, while the speech bubble adds a playful bit of character to the scene. The Alhambra pieces are integrated naturally into the structure and furnishings, helping the room feel both ornate and original.
