BobEC’s Fishing Derby Palooza is making its debut, a week-long community showdown centered on the automated Fishing Derby in Habbo Origins. From May 4th to May 11th, every derby you enter is automatically part of the action. No extra steps, no complicated rules. Just cast your line, track your catches, and climb the ranks.

How It Works:

• Choose your hotel The Palooza tracks .com, .com.br, and .es independently. Each hotel features its own unique leaderboard, so focus your efforts where you actually play.

• Hit the automated derbies With derbies running roughly every 4 hours, about 6 per day, you have up to 42 opportunities per hotel throughout the week to secure your score.

• The 15-minute sprint Ensure you register as soon as the window opens. Only fish caught during the live 15-minute derby period count toward your standing, catches outside this window do not qualify.

• Dual brackets: Public & Private Public and Private rooms operate on separate leaderboards with individual prize pools. While you can fish in both, you are limited to winning prizes in only one bracket per hotel.

• Golden Fish bonus In Public rooms, each Golden Fish adds a +5 bonus to its normal score. Since goldens only appear in Public spaces, this bonus is exclusive to the Public bracket.

• Daily best scoring Your single highest derby result from each day is recorded per bracket. Your final leaderboard standing is the sum of these daily bests across the 7-day event.

• Ties Ties are not shared on the leaderboard. If multiple anglers conclude the event with identical total scores, the higher rank is awarded to whoever reached that tally first. For example, if two players finish with 120 fish, the one who secured that score earlier in the week takes the lead.

Event Ends: May 11th 00:00 (HABBO TIME UTC)

Verified results and final announcements will be shared within 24 hours of the event’s conclusion.

Rewards are distributed per hotel and per bracket. With 40 winners per hotel, please note that prizes are limited to one win per person per all 3 hotels.

Strategy Notes:

• Consistency wins Showing up most days beats one monster session, you only get one daily score recorded. Consistency is your best friend on the leaderboard.

• Pick your shot If you’ve already secured a strong derby result today, save your energy. Tomorrow is a fresh slot and another chance to stack points.

• Commit to one bracket Prizes only land in Public or Private, not both. Pick the room type that fits your style and focus your best days there to maximize your ranking.

• Pick your hotel Each hotel has its own leaderboard. Concentrate on the one where you play, as you can only win prizes once per all 3 hotels.

• Public players: chase golden fish Each one is worth a +5 bonus on top of its normal score. A handful of goldens can flip a derby result, so prioritize them whenever they show up.

• Don’t waste the opening minutes The derby is a 15-minute sprint. Be in the room with your rod equipped and ready to cast before the timer flips live.
